At Penny Kleinschmidt State Farm, we’re dedicated to providing personalized insurance for your home, car, life, and more throughout Tennessee. Whether you prefer a call, text, email, or a visit to our office in Fountain City, we’re here to create a Personal Price Plan tailored just for you.

Our team aims to alleviate the stress of insurance by offering friendly, knowledgeable support during both good and challenging times. We specialize in auto, home, renters, life, health, small business insurance, and loans, serving the Knoxville area including Fountain City, Corryton, North Knoxville and beyond.

Penny is passionate about community involvement, actively participating in the Fountain City Lions Club and supporting local schools. She donates teddy bears to the Knoxville Police and Fire Departments for children in need.

When not at work, Penny enjoys home projects, gardening, and spending time at the lake with her husband, Scott. They love visiting family across several states. Penny is also proud of her son in the Navy, her daughter-in-law who works remotely for her , and her daughter, an athletic mental health counselor at Troy University. Their two beloved dogs, Rainy Roo and Big Boy, occasionally join her at the office.

Our office motto is "Always do what is right." We commit in ongoing training to stay updated in the insurance industry and better serve our customers. At Penny Kleinschmidt State Farm, we focus on helping people. It is our aim to ease the stress that can come with insurance by offering personalized service. We believe people prefer to have someone they know to help guide them through both good and bad times.

We love helping people!!

Penny loves volunteering and helping people. In her spare time, you can find her at home working on a project or working in her yard and hobby farm in Corryton. She loves visiting with family in North Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Kansas, and Missouri. She will also tell you that her and Scott were such bad parents that both kids left the state when they graduated :O). Christopher is in the Navy and Brooke is a football athletic trainer at Troy University in Alabama. When Scott isn't working, you can find him somewhere on the farm, mowing and/or hunting turkey or deer. We love living in the country. Their family dogs Rainy Roo and Big Boy, loves to visit the office, going for rides, and loves chases the squirrels, turkey, and deer on their farm. Penny has never met a stranger and her love of people is what motivates her to endeavor every family in the community is protected.
